One Way or the Wrong Way

Today as I was driving home I was startled out of singing my songs by a speeding car driving the wrong way on a one way street. It happened so fast that it took me a few seconds to lay my hand on the horn to let him know that a) he was driving the wrong way, and b) what the f*&^k?
Is this the same gentleman who doesn't stop at my one way stop? He is the same man who drove all the way around the circle on the OUTSIDE nearly causing four of us to crash into each other trying to get off the circle? Or maybe he's the same man that blew the stop sign because he was engaged in a very engrossing conversation on his cell phone.

Whoever he was, I'm sure to meet up with him on another day. Like tomorrow. And I'll probably meet up with his family and his relatives since there seem to be SO many people like him who have no respect for the road, speed limits, construction zones, school zones, stop signs, right of way, pedestrians- stop me, I could go on all day... but let's hope for his sake and all his family members that he doesn't meet up with someone else like him- because if they are as observant as he is, they'll be dead.

Why another traffic rant? Because EVERY day I leave my house to commute to work in the hopes that the drive will be uneventful and pleasant. That one day I will make it there and home without having to fend for my life because there are so many idiots on the road. I never claimed I'm an amazing driver- I have my faults ( I've had to reign in my road rage), but when did all of these people forget their driving lessons? The same day as they took them?

I don't think it's too much to ask that for god's sake drivers need to at least pay attention to what they are doing.
