Fundraiser Aids Desperate Canines
Edmonton, AB- Lilly came to the Second Chance Animal Rescue Society in a desperate state; she
had been shot and was suffering from a gaping neck wound that was full of infection. Her throat andone eye were also damaged due to other traumatic incidents. Lilly is currently undergoing multiplesurgeries and will require many months of care to help her heal.
It is thanks to the generous contributions of the public that SCARS and their foster parent programhave been able to care for Lilly and many other dogs like her. But SCARS still needs your help.
This year is the 3rd Annual Canines & Cocktails fundraiser that sees all net proceeds going directlyto aid in promoting the health and welfare of hundreds of our canine friends.

This wonderful themed event titled the Phantom of the oPAWra, will feature both live and silent
auctions, and a fantastic dinner. And businesses are being offered the unique opportunity to support this event.
Join MC Seanna Collins and volunteers from the Society at the Palace Banquet and Conference
Facility, September 19th at 6:00pm for this classy affair.
