Forget About Paris in Springtime, Christmas is the Most Romantic Time of the Year

Edmonton, AB- The holiday season is fast approaching, and it’s all too easy for us to get bogged down with the chaos of shopping frenzies and Christmas parties. But for author CharleneElizabeth it’s also one of the most romantic times of the year, and the one when we can most use a little escapism.

“I can’t think of a more perfect time of the year to get in the mood for romance: glistening snow, the lights at night, warm firesides. There’s a good reason why there’s always a slate of romantic movies that are released at this time of the year – there’s just something about the season that puts us all in the mood for love!” says the Charlene, who writes under the pseudonym of C. Elizabeth and is the author of the contemporary romance Absolute Obsession.

And there’s also something about the season that makes it perfect for curling up with a good book, “We all tend to get a bit run off our feet and reading a good book is the perfect way to kick off your heels and recharge your batteries. What could be better than a warm cup of cocoa and a steamy novel while the snow falls outside? It makes the perfect pre-Christmas gift for yourself!”
