Kathryn Kern, founder and creator of Go To Your Room began her artistic career more than 15 years ago in Edmonton, Alberta. Through a growing referral base, Kathryn found herself designing more and more rooms for children, and very quickly discovered a significant gap in the Edmonton marketplace. Kathryn's own two children, Sam 17 and Ellen 14, have been a great source of inspiration for many of her designs over the years. As they have moved through each stage of growth, they have acted as her "unofficial" advisors when it comes to tapping into the tastes and styles of kids their own age.
Our 'new' location is now in its 3rd year! We have accessed an invaluable amount of new suppliers who are as committed to quality in product and service as we are. Our locally sourced artists,designers and carpenters are also working with us to support independent business in Edmonton and keep our city, communities, and kids rooms unique and original.
